Hip hop musician Eamon and his partner Jenny are 20-something first homeowners with a passion for renovating. Can Baz help them transform their place?
The kitchen before was a 70s nightmare, almost falling apart at the seams.
But Baz gave it a funky urban facelift!
Eamon and Jenny had tried to put some of the kitchen together themselves on a tight budget.
Baz's renovation helped them create a more functional living space, for just $5,000!
The room was closed off from the rest of the house before.
So Baz created an open-living space and brought it into the 21st century by removing some of the wall.
Eamon confessed that they thought they'd have to "burn" the whole room and replace it with a brand new kitchen.
Barry reused a lot of the old worksurfaces to create what he called a "bitchin' kitchen"!
The Jim's Group boys get to work taking apart the old kitchen.
Baz gets Eamon to do his bit! Because he chipped (pardon the pun) in, carpentry only cost $100!
And Jenny gets stuck in lifting up the old linoleum flooring.
Dylan restores the old timber in the kitchen to create new workbenches.
"I'm the reno mack-daddy, I'll come to your hood. If you're dissin' your kitchen, I'll make it all good. Word."
Graffiti art on the front of the island gives Eamon and Jenny's new room the hip-hop edge that they crave.
The new industrial-style kitchen starts to take form.
They look very pleased with their new room…
