He’s handy with a hammer and full of stories! That’s right, larrikin builder Barry “Baz” Du Bois heads up the renovations segment on The Living Room.
After a stint as a mentor on The Renovators in 2011, Barry became known for his sage advice and wry smile. Before coming to TV, Baz’s building career spanned more than 30 years; he started out as an apprentice carpenter and soon started his own building company, before graduating to renovating multi-million dollar waterfront homes.
He retired at 46 and spent six months of the year sailing around the world in his yacht (we're not jealous, we're not). Last year, his gorgeous twins came along and ever since, he's been smiling through a mountain of nappies.
